It’s been a minute since we’ve heard new music from Steve Grand, but the out singer-songwriter and tireless thirst trap has walked back into the spotlight.
Grand has released “Walking,” the lead single from his upcoming sophomore album, which he expects to drop in a few months.
“And so a new era begins,” he wrote on Instagram. “Since summer has just begun, I wanted to start this next chapter off with a lighter, fun tone… before we dive deeper.”
For a limited time, Grand is donating all of the net proceeds from the song to American Friends of Rainbow Railroad, a charity that helps LGBT people “find a safe-haven from state-sponsored violence, murder and persecution.”
In addition to a new lyric video, which includes footage of Grand touring and traveling the world, he promises an official music video for “Walking” in the coming weeks.
Grand became an overnight sensation when the video for his gay-themed single “All-American Boy” went viral in 2013. After a successful Kickstarter campaign, he released his debut album, All-American Boy, in 2015.
