The Will & Grace revival hasn’t even premiered, but you should prepare to have the fab foursome around for awhile.
Today at the Television Critics Association panel on the groundbreaking NBC sitcom, the cast and creators of the series sat onstage in front of a packed room to talk about the show’s revival. NBC chairman Bob Goldbatt made the announcement at the beginning of the panel that the Will & Grace revival has already been renewed for a second season—even before the new season’s premiere next month.
Four additional episodes have been ordered for this year’s new season, for a total of 16, and the tenth season will consist of 13 episodes.
The new season of Will & Grace started production yesterday with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and the news that the revival will ignore the depressing series finale from the original run.
