SNL 'A Christmas Carol' Skit Shows Trump Visited By Ghost Of Flynn

"Saturday Night Live" this week opened with a parody of "A Christmas Carol" that featured actor Alec Baldwin as President Trump visited by "the ghost of witness flipped" — his former national security adviser Michael Flynn.
 
Flynn, played by "SNL" cast member Mikey Day, tells Baldwin's Trump "it's time to come clean for the good of the country," before Trump is visited by the ghosts of past, present and future.
 
Billy Bush, played by Alex Moffat, appears as Trump's past to invoke the 2005 "Access Hollywood" tape. Beck Bennett's shirtless Vladimir Putin also appeared as Trump's present, warning Trump not to mess up his presidency.
 
“Listen, we put a lot of work into you, a lot of time and money, and you’re about to mess it all up,” Putin tells Trump in the skit.

The ghost of Trump's future was none other than Kate McKinnon's Hillary Clinton, shrouded in a dark cloak.
 
“You Donald, have given me the greatest Christmas gift of all!" she exclaims. "You have no idea how long I’ve wanted to say this, ‘lock him up!' "
 
The skit comes after Flynn pleaded guilty on Friday to lying to federal investigators about his conversations with then-Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak during the presidential transition  about sanctions related to the Kremlin’s election interference.
