It’s hard to top last year’s gag-worthy surprise when Lady Gaga sashayed into the workroom on the season premiere of RuPaul’s Drag Race—but now another queen of pop is about to make their Drag Race debut.
Christina Aguilera has been announced as the first guest judge for the queen-sized tenth season of Drag Race. How will the queens handle being in the same room as the “Candyman” singer?
Xtina is one of the biggest names in pop, selling more than 75 million records worldwide. In addition to being a Grammy-winning singer, she has also served as one of the judges on The Voice for six seasons. Her last album was 2012’s Lotus.
Aguilera has been a longtime ally of the LGBT community. In 2016 she released a balled titled “Change” and all of the proceeds from the song would benefit the victims of the Pulse nightclub massacre in Orlando.
Will the queens have to dress up in their favorite Aguilera look? Or maybe they will be tasked with recreating a scene from the classic musical Burlesque? We will have to wait and see what’s in store when RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 10 premieres on March 22.
