The flu starts in one part of the world and spreads across the planet.
The flu season has arrived in the United States and doctors are extremely concerned given the number of deaths in Australia that were flu-related.
According to CNN, a total of 215,280 laboratory-confirmed cases and 504 flu-associated deaths had been reported to Australia's National Notifiable Diseases Surveillance System as of Oct. 13, government data shows.
According to the latest Centers for Disease Control and Prevention report, the number of flu cases is still relatively low.
n Florida, flu activity is increasing among pregnant women and adults over 65.
According to the CDC, Georgia is seeing sporadic flu cases, but like everywhere else, flu activity is increasing.
The CDC has recommended everyone get the flu shot to reduce your risk and to help lower the spread of the flu virus.
